Just download the server files provided and only extract and overwrite the craftbukkit.jar

Sorry for the late reply, I've updated the original post to contain a link to update it. however the original files still have the updated craftbukkit.jar.

Anything Unicode, I think the maximum characters is 32.

listen, the whole thing is simple.
you download the file, unpack it wherever you want,
edit the files accordingly.

whenever i try to run the RUN.bt file the command prompt says "Unable to access jarfile C:\Users\DemetriCyvka\AppData\Local\Temp\Rar$DI91.656\\craftbukkit.jar
then it says "press any key to continue" which just closes the command prompt when i hit a key plz help!

are you sure you did the tutorial right?
because step 3 clearly stating that you need to EXTRACT the files in a folder.
you clearly were running it from the zip with WinRar.
Otherwise it wouldn't be in the Temp folder.
so, just extract the files, and then run RUN.bat

I've gone through this tutorial a couple of times, I'm almost positive everythings in the right place (C:\MineCraft Server) and I'm pretty sure I edited ops and server correctly, but when I go to run the 'RUN' file, (from the desktop OR directly from the Minecraft Server file) it just says (the tab labeling the program from RUN is 'C:\Windows\system32\cmd.exe if it matters) "The system cannot find the path specified. Press any key to continue . . ." and closes at the press of any key? Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

well, it looks like it can't find java at the default location.
You'll need to manually change the line

%ProgramFiles%\Java\jre6\bin\java.exe

in the line

"%ProgramFiles%\Java\jre6\bin\java.exe" -Xincgc -Xmx1G -jar "%BINDIR%\craftbukkit.jar"

to wherever your java.exe is.
just locate your java.exe and replace the old location with the new location and it should work correctly.

Java is made by Sun Microsystems, that's about the "Sun".

that's what I figured about the sun, but it wasn't the path you described. I'll try reinstalling it when I get a chance, but it won't let me update it unless I download the update somewhere else. (My computer is all screwed up; if I update anything in windows updater my computer crashes and won't turn on until you put in some crazy code and delete the files before you log in) would the problem be as easily solved by moving the java folder to its normal location, anyway? I'll try what you said when I get a chance though.

moving the "java folder" won't work, so don't do it, it's the files java uses, not the actual java.
it should be in the directory "jre6" or "jre7".
